Perhaps I'll use this forum to ask about social/political issues. Here's one...Why is 'affordable housing' a good thing? Doesn't it just make all of the other houses more expensive, since builders still need to recover costs & make a profit? Also, if a house is 'unaffordable', nobody will buy it. The whole concept just seems a bit short-sighted to me...
