Gridlock, I hope...

The bright spot in this year's national election is gridlock. It seems to me that the country runs best when one party controls Congress and the President is in the other one. With a few exceptions, neither party can really accomplish anything. Legislators are vetoed by the Prez and the Prez is ignored by the Legislators. If neither party can do anything, then nobody can mess up the economy. Example: Companies know that tax cuts won't happen because Congress won't allow it and tax hikes won't happen because Bush will veto them. Ahhh....(part of) a libertarian's dream - a gov't that doesn't meddle...
