While I am proud to be an American, I cannot say that I am proud of our current leadership. People are shooting each other in Utah malls. Social Security payouts are growing as our population ages. China has $1,000,000,000,000 in cash. Our roads are falling apart. The national debt is growing. Illegal immigrants are sucking up social services. Prisons are stuffed. We buy oil from terrorists, instead of using our own, because it would be messy.
So, how does our beloved Congress respond? The esteemed leaders of this country are taking this week to argue over whether they support the President's choice to increase the number of soldiers in Iraq. What the crap?!?!?!?
Millions of people actually voted for this leadership? I'm not saying that the previous batch was much better, but is this the best we can get? If so, I want a refund.
